Well with Beta signups coming later today, there's been a bunch of new news and rumors floating around the net that we've missed while doing our two weeks of Beta Survival. So today we're going to point folks in some other directions where they can find more answers to their beta questions.
Blizzard has had a number of Q&A's on their boards. An achieve of them can be found here and the lastest is here.
World of War.net recently went on a trip to Cali in order to chat with the programmers behind warcraft. They've posted a bunch of articles about their visit and have a really good one on the current state of the alpha test |

Going to interrupt our beta survival guide with this important announcement from Blizzard.
World of Warcraft Beta Signups This Week!
At 6:00 pm PST on Wednesday, January 28th, the signup period for the World of Warcraft Beta Test will officially begin. We will provide a link to the beta-test application right here in the news section at that time. Testers are not going to be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis, so you will be able to submit an application and receive equal consideration anytime during the signup period, which will end on Wednesday, February 4th at 6:00 pm PST. Please note that multiple submissions from the same household will result in complete disqualification.
For this initial phase of the World of Warcraft beta test, we will only be able to accept applications from Canada, Korea, and the US. The test for Europe and other countries around the world will happen later this year. Please do not contact us for further information regarding the beta test; we will be posting a FAQ in the days ahead.

Myth: If I choose a priest, I'll need to rely on groups to level
Fact: Blizzard's primary goal when designing classes was to make sure they were fun and viable as both solo and group classes. Of course some are bound to be better at one than another, but the Priest can do just fine on his own soloing. They have a mind control spell that lets them take control of other creeps as well as buffs and shadow magic damage spells so they should have more than enough tools to get around WoW without a problem.
This also goes for two classes typically left homeless, rogues and hunters. In past games these classes added very little to groups as compared to tanks, mages, and clerics. Rogues, besides being able to unload tons of damage have abilities to disable traps and find secret items/areas that will definately come in handy during dungeon seiges. Hunters will have the firepower to be more than just a puller as well as the health/armor to take a few hits, making them almost like a hybrid tank/mage.
